All fields are required with the following exceptions:
-- Port is not required when submitting a channel
-- Channel is not required when submitting IRC network only

All new IRC network submissions must be verified before the spider will be dispatched so please be patient. This submission process will attempt to do some basic validation of network connectivity and DNS host name resolution and will give appropriate errors if these checks fail; however, this is just the basic verification. A more 'in depth' verification on the back end will take place within 10 minutes of network submission.

Once this process takes place, you will be notified via the email address you supply here if your IRC network was successfully added or not (and why).

Note: Please make sure that if you or your network operators run an autoban script that detects clones that you (or your netops) add an exception for the IRCDIG indexing spider. If the network has more channels to index that the server allows a single client to join, the spider will clone itself to pick up the rest. Without the exception, these autoban scripts will ban the spiders and piss me off.
